The Chinese brand Sankuanz upgrades the panorama of street fashion by adopting qualities and dynamics typical of haute couture. It is one of the independent labbels that is helping the country to establish its place on the international fashion map.
Once again, Sankuanz FW19 repeats the black color as clear protagonist of the collection, with satin and leather fabrics as clear kings of the total blacklooks. The metal is again the final touch; after their armor-vests of the SS19 collection, this time the medieval inspiration comes in the form of metallic gloves and, of course and as could not be otherwise, metal chains and tips in the accessories.
Sankuanz again breaks the dominant black palette with colors reflections and camouflage print. The neon green of the Cell Endura 98 sneakers that the designer revived with his collaboration with Puma has been present in small details, distinctive of the brand. As for footwear, as we expected, the round platform sandals have once again stepped on the catwalk.
A list of elements that are repeated and that Sankuanz has accepted as its canons that may have made this proposal not so different from the previous ones. Although it is clear that, with this new collection, the brand shows that it is not just another attempt at street fashion. The undeniable maturity developed by its founder and designer Shangguan Zhe in recent years has made London and Paris focus on the creative, who is already the favorite of the Chinese wave of hip hop and has earned his reputation as a vanguardist designer. Sankuanz FW19 is not only the manifestation of the evolution of the brand, it is also the demonstration that urban fashion is becoming more exquisite and polished, with dynamics and care typical of luxury brands.
