The Margiela x Reebok Classic Tabi universe continues to expand

Maison Margiela y Reebok presentan nuevos colorways de las Reebok Classic Leather Tabi, con las que vestir dos siluetas icónicas a la vez.

Maison Margiela and Reebok continue to unite their disruptive language in a single narrative. As a continuation of the collaboration started last year, both brands present two new colorways to wear two iconic archive silhouettes at the same time.

Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi

Both Margiela’s Tabi Boots (1988) and Rebook’s Classic Leather (1983) were born in the 1980s to change the system. Now, the Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi are available in two tonal black and white versions in nappa leather.

The two new models are a refined version of the revolutionary codes of Galliano‘s fashion house and sportswear brand. The classic designs evolve into a heritage silhouette that is both contemporary and timeless.

In this sense, the Reebok silhouette is deconstructed to achieve the distinctive split-toe design that continues to cause controversy in the industry. If you’re wondering what to wear with the split sneakers at this point, don’t worry: they’re complemented by a tabi sock.

Branding registers in the form of dynamic Vector logos overlaid on the sides, Reebok badges, co-branding on the tongue, and Margiela stitching on the back. To elevate comfort, they include a matching plush sock liner and a solid EVA sole.

Priced at $300, the Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi will be available from 26 February on the Maison Margiela and Reebok websites, with a wider release in select Margiela shops and retailers such as HBX.
