In a new drop of deconstructed sneakers, featuring LDWaflles and Blazer Mids, Chitose Abe brings once again his passion for new identities and hybrid pieces. After the first drop’s outstanding success, we can’t expect nothing but a sold out sign everywhere.
With a predominant neutral palette of colors for both LDWaffles and Blazer Mids, sacai splashes a a powerful combination of oranges, pink and greens in one of the proposals for the running silhouette to cheer up the vibes of its latest collection along the Oregon sportswear giant.
Besides the footwear new designs, Chitose Abe (@sacaiofficial) created an apparel capsule that reflects the same love for hybrids in every piece. This range of clothes includes windbreakers jackets transformed into skirts and pants, tracksuits and sports-bras among others.
The Japanese creator is well aware of how things should be done in order to leave your mark in sportswear history, and her ability to match tradition and innovation raises her as one to keep an eye on.
Both clothing creations Blazer Mids and LDWaffles represents sacai’s and Nike’s true colors and defines the direction these collabs should be taking.
