Comme des Garçons it’s one of the most prestigious brands out there and everything they do is hyped like crazy. Their endless list of collaborations is strong in sneakers and this last creation is gonna blow your mind. Ladies only.
Luxury meets skate in this last design from Rei Kawakubo’s firm for Nike. The widely popular SB Dunk Low is the last silhouette to be interpreted by the Japanese firm in two versions this time.
Unveiled during Paris Fashion Week, a predominancy of black and grey tones with an allover CDG printed pattern are key features of the first design for this SS20 proposal. The Kawakubo’s avant-garde designs are both constructed of translucent TPE accented by synthetic framing and a tacked-on leather heel tab.
The second iteration is a simpler one and, applying the same translucent TPE, offers a heat-welded midfoot Swooshes. Waxed laces in black are a common thing for both designs.
